Deep Cleaning vs Standard Cleaning: What's the Difference?
When you book a cleaning service, you'll be asked to choose between a standard cleaning and a deep cleaning. They're very different — and picking the right one saves you money and frustration.
Standard cleaning is for maintenance
A standard cleaning keeps an already-clean home looking great. The team focuses on surfaces, floors, kitchens and bathrooms — the spots that visibly need attention each week.
- Surfaces dusted
- Kitchen counters, sink, stovetop, outside of appliances
- Bathrooms wiped and sanitized
- Floors vacuumed and mopped
- Beds made, trash removed
Deep cleaning is for build-up and reset
A deep cleaning addresses everything a standard cleaning skips — grout, baseboards, inside appliances, vents, blinds, light fixtures, switches and more. Because it covers much more detail, it takes longer than a standard visit; we'll give you a realistic time estimate when we quote your home.
Which one do you need?
- Cleaned within last 3 weeks → standard cleaning
- Cleaned 30+ days ago → deep cleaning recommended
- First time hiring a cleaner → deep cleaning
- Moving in or out → move-out cleaning (specialized service)
